  சிவில் சர்வீசஸ் முதல்நிலைத் தேர்வில் (Civil Services Preliminary Examination) - தாள்-1 பகுதியில் பல வகையான கேள்விகள் இடம்பெறுகின்றன.

 “எளிய நேரடிக் கேள்விகள்” (Simple Straight Questions),  “தொகுப்புக் கேள்விகள்” ” (Compiled Questions) மற்றும் “குழுக் கேள்விகள்”(Group Questions)-ஆகியவற்றைப் பற்றி விரிவாகப் பார்த்தோம். 

  இனி -“சொற்றொடர்களின் உண்மைநிலைக் கேள்விகள்”(The Truth of Statement Questions)  மற்றும் “பகுத்தறிவுத் திறன் கேள்விகள்” (Reasoning Type Questions) பற்றிப் பார்ப்போம். 

4. சொற்றொடர்களின் உண்மைநிலைக் கேள்விகள் 

(The Truth of Statement Questions)

  எழுத்துத்தேர்வில் இடம்பெறும் கொள்குறிவகை வினா கேள்விகளில் “சொற்றொடர்களின் உண்மைநிலைக் கேள்விகள்” (The Truth of Statement Questions) இப்போது சிவில் சர்வீசஸ் தேர்வு மற்றும் எல்லா போட்டித் தேர்வுகளிலும் அதிகமாக இடம்பெறுகின்றது. 

    இந்த வகைக் கேள்விகளில் ,பொதுவாக 4 வாக்கியங்கள் பதிலாகக் கொடுக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும். இந்த 4 வாக்கியங்களில் எந்த வாக்கியம் சரியானது? எந்த வாக்கியம் தவறானது? என்பதைக் கண்டுபிடிப்பது போட்டியாளர்களுக்கு சவாலாக அமையும். கொடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ள 4 விடைகளுமே சரியான விடையாகத் தோன்றுவதால், எந்த விடை மிகச் சரியானவை? எனக் கண்டுபிடிப்பதில் முதலில் குழப்பம் ஏற்படும். 

  பாடத்தைப் பற்றிய தெளிவான அறிவு கொண்டவர்களால் மட்டுமே, மிகச் சரியான விடையை தேர்ந்தெடுக்க இயலும். இந்தியாவிலுள்ள சில சட்டங்கள், திட்டங்கள் மாநிலத்திற்கு மாநிலம் வேறுபடும். எனவே, ஒவ்வொரு மாநிலம் பற்றியும் தெளிவான அறிவை வளர்த்துக்கொண்டு தேர்வுக்கான தயாரிப்பை மேற்கொள்வது நல்லது. இதேபோல், அறிவியல் சம்பந்தப்பட்ட அடிப்படைத் தகவல்களிலும், வரலாற்று நிகழ்வுகளிலும் அதிக கேள்விகள் இடம்பெற வாய்ப்புள்ளது.
